Ottawa Recreation offers programs throughout the year, but especially in the summer, to provide recreational opportunities for the citizens of Ottawa. The Playground and Recreation Board members are committed to providing quality recreational opportunities with the lowest possible fee to the greatest number of people.

Online Registration is now open!


  • The Magic Show is Wednesday, June 23 at 10:15 am at the Central/Shepherd football field.  Free admission!

ttawa Soccer Club and Chicago Fire are hosting a soccer camp!  Click HERE for information and to register.

  • Volley tots has been added.  The dates are July 6-8 at Marquette’s Bader Gym from 1-2.
  • An email was mistakenly sent that said people were registered for game camp.  They were not.  Recreation apologizes.
Astra Soccer Academy, host of the Recreation Professional Soccer Camp is excited to offer additional programs to  Ottawa area players.

Ottawa’s Riordan Pool continues to accept applications to work as a  lifeguard. The link to download the application is HERE.  You may also pick up a paper copy of the application at Ottawa City Hall.  Please Return all application to Riordan Pool C/O Ottawa City Hall. You can drop them off or mail them to us at 301 W. Madison St., Ottawa.  Or email the application to

Youth teams wishing to use City of Ottawa baseball and softball fields must submit proper documentation. No exceptions!  Email with questions. 


Riordan Pool 2021

  • Riordan Pool is open 11 to 6 Monday through Saturday.  
  • 11 to Noon is adult swim only.
  • Noon to 6 all swim.



Daily Rate: $4.00 per person: 2 and under FREE

Individual Season Pass (residents within corporate limits): $150.00

Family Pass : $250.00

Family Pass covers 2 adults and up to 4 children living within the same household. $25 for each additional family member

10 Swim Pass Package: $30.00
